It’s time! The Orangery at Gunnebo will finally be opening and we’re celebrating by inviting you all to our very first crafts festival. Are you interested in heritage crafts like wood and stone carving, timber framing or how to make a tiled stove? Would you like to know more about orangery plants and mowing with scythes? Then this is the perfect event for you.
Go to workshops and talks, meet our craftworkers and stallholders, have a go at scything and learn more about different building conservation methods. In the children’s festival area there will be different crafts to try and small animals to pet. Experience a bustling mix of heritage crafts and craftwork, music and culture and enjoy Gunnebo’s organic food and drinks.
The festival is happening as part of the inauguration of Gunnebo’s Orangery, which is the last of the large buildings to be tackled in the restoration of 18th century Gunnebo. Through historical research, solid craftsmanship and preservation of old techniques, methods and materials, we are now continuing the journey forward.
Pleace note that workshops and talks are held in swedish.
See you in August!
