Lake Stensjön offers lovely canoeing and refreshing dips. Hire a canoe from the Stensjö Center and finish off with a dip in the lake. (NB! Pre-booking is recommended)
The Stensjö Center houses Mölndal’s only adventure golf course. The course has 12 holes to suit both adults and children. This wonderful adventure golf course is right next to Lake Stensjön. A beautiful setting for a fun round of mini-golf!
Rådasjön’s swimming area
Lake Rådasjön’s public swimming area is wheelchair accessible, and has a jetty. The lake has a lovely sandy bottom. You’ll find toilets, a barbecue area and rubbish bins there. Directly adjacent to the lake is a large car park which can be reached via John Hall’s road. Inspections and cleaning are regularly carried out and are done more often during summer. Dogs are not allowed in the public bathing areas. Fishing is allowed – the yellow fishing card is valid.
Lake Stensjön’s swimming area
The Lake Stensjön public swimming area is on John Hall’s road, between Rådavägen road and the Gunnebo bridge. This bathing area is very child-friendly, with a shallow sandy beach. Right next to it, the river Ståloppet feeds into Lake Stensjön, so there is a constant turnover of water. The area has toilets and rubbish bins. Inspections and cleaning are regularly carried out and are done more often during summer. Dogs are not allowed in the public bathing areas. Fishing is allowed – the yellow fishing card is valid. On the western shore of the lake is another bathing area, with jetties and a smaller sandy beach. There is a small playground close to the beach.
Gunnebo’s historic estate is surrounded by extremely beautiful countryside. Take the opportunity to extend your day by walking part of the Bohusleden Trail, stage 1 Blåvättnerna-Stensjön or stage 2 Stensjön-Skatås. More information and maps can be found here.
